P&G Flirts with Google Apps

In a recent CIO magazine article, it was revealed that Proctor and Gamble was seriously considering moving their enterpise email to Google Apps. Microsoft, which has been dismissive of Google’s product offering seems to be waking up to the threat.

Microsoft is now taking the threat from Google quite seriously: In July 2008 COO Kevin Turner was dispatched to consumer-products giant Procter & Gamble to dissuade P&G from moving to Google Apps—and ditching Microsoft.
